• “Overtime Defence ”, Abcom’s proprietary Labour Rules Engine, operates continually to avoid costly labour penalties - applying even the most complex rules from Awards, Agreements and legislation by displaying warnings in real time as the employee tries to clock on – i.e. BEFORE breaches occur.
• LabourGuard can interface with compatible Employee Scheduling Systems to ensure the hours you schedule are the hours your employees work.
• Role-based security, unique user security codes and optional employee photos combine to prevent employee clocking fraud and ensure that the expenditure you make on labour is directed towards a better customer experience in your restaurant.
• Simple, secure Manager Override functions allow for full control of employee clockings.
• Colour-coding via a simple Green = OK but Red = a Bad Clocking, provides instant visual feedback when selecting an employee to Clock In or Clock Out.

• LabourGuard is a software engine that can be implemented on a variety of Microsoft Windows based hardware – either standard or embedded versions.
  In locations where there are a significant number of employees who are required to clock on/off throughout the trading day, it is recommended that LabourGuard be deployed on a wall-mounted touch-panel PC. This has the added advantage of a low cost solution to avoid staff interrupting customers being served when using a POS-based time and attendance recorder. Alternatively, where the location has only a few employees, LabourGuard can be installed onto pre-existing compatible hardware within the store, such as a POS terminal or PC.
